News - Sarikei Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease (HFMD) Update

Update on hand, foot and mouth disease (HFMD) : Sarawak has surpassed 10,000 cases since the outbreak 3 months ago. Sarikei has 907 cases! See my previous post in March'06.

1000 blog visits reached in 3 months!
When I started the Sarikei blog, I was not sure that it could last. There's 150+ readers now. There are Sarikei people all over the world. The most amazing one is a Sarikei blogger from Brazil! I thought Brazil = Ronaldinho, Ronaldo, Kaka & Adriano. OK, that's the pre World Cup fever. Sarikei will be like any other town with kopitiams' Astro TV glued on Henry's trickery and Beckham's new hair style. Sorry, I don't encourage betting so you have to find your own betting outlet.

Welcome to all new Sarikei readers from friendster.com, mostly 19-30 year-old younger generation. If you leave a comment, instead of "anonymous", pls try to use a "name" (whether real or false) so that others can relate to you when you comment a 2nd time. There are regular readers who contribute great interaction to this Sarikei community. Thanks to the readers who emailed privately with feedback.

I will try to blog 1-3 times a week depending on my work & business travel but you, the readers, should interact with each other in the comments section to make it lively! This is your town. Even the swallows will home in when they are released elsewhere.
