Savour the famous rojak (salad) at the hawker centre. Wash it down with calamansi (lime) drink. Buy Bintangor limau (oranges). Stroll along the Rejang Wharf Esplanade and have a walk in the local park. Visit relatives.

It is delightful to know that finally - yes finally the Nyelong Bridge is completed and it only takes 15 minutes to go between Bintangor and Sarikei.....This has taken 30 years. Now I am too old to enjoy the shortened distance. May the younger generation have the pleasure of travelling faster and safer.

Progress...

Now people of Sarikei can get out of town even faster. The bridge helps speed up the exodus. Hurrah.
